Tuesday 9:00 a.m. — 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday 9:00 a.m. — 3:30 p.m.
Thursday 9:00 a.m. — 3:30 p.m.
Friday 9:00 a.m. — 3:30 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. — Noon
We ask clients to arrive 30 minutes before closing to ensure service.

CLM Food Pantry is closed:
New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans’ Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday & Friday), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve.
If a holiday falls on a Saturday, we will be closed on a Friday. If a holiday falls on Sunday, we will be closed on Monday.
Our policies:
- As part of our agreement with Dare to Care, volunteers are not to eat, drink, or take home any food that is intended to be given to clients.
- As part of our agreement with Dare to Care and The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), we cannot engage in explicitly religious activities.
- As a non-profit organization, the Center for Lay Ministries cannot endorse any political party.
- We follow USDA guidelines and operate a client choice food pantry. This means clients get to choose the food they would like to receive for their family.
- The Center for Lay Ministries is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
Donation Policy:
- We accept food donations from many different sources. All food should be weighed and the weight and name of donor recorded on sheets near scale.
- We accept some clothing and household goods. Clothing should be clean before we accept it.
Who we serve:
- All programs in the Food Pantry building serve Clark County residents. However, we will serve someone from a different county on their first visit to our pantry and refer them to their local food pantry.
- To receive USDA foods, clients must meet income guidelines. Clients who exceed the income guidelines will receive other donated food, not USDA food.
- Bliss House and Bliss Too serve multiple counties.
Services we provide to clients:
- Food is available once a month to Clark County residents who want to shop in the food pantry.
- If a client is homeless, they have the option to receive food once a week or once a month.
- We also operate Bliss House, a recovery program for women addicted to drugs and/or alcohol and Bliss Too, transitional housing for women addicted to drugs and/or alcohol.
- We have a limited clothing pantry that is available to all of our clients.
Services we do not provide:
- We are no longer able to help with rent or utilities assistance.
- We do not provide bus tickets.
We reserve the right to refuse serve to anyone who is:
- Disrespectful to our volunteers, other clients, or our property,
- Intoxicated, highly agitated, violent, or causing a disturbance.
Security:
If needed call 911. However, under the front desk is a button that will alert our security company, who in turn will contact the police.
Community service at CLM:
- We do not accept court-ordered community service.
- If a child is under the age of 16 and request to volunteer for a school or an organization, a guardian must be present the entire time the child is at CLM and they must have prior approval from Volunteer Coordinator or Executive Director.
- Food Pantry Clients cannot serve as volunteers due to conflict of interest unless approved by Volunteer Coordinator.
