CLM offers programs designed to teach new skills to our clients that will allow them to develop a healthier living style and to move toward self-sufficiency. Information about the classes is posted as they occur at the Thelma Matthews building.

COOKING MATTERS

In partnership with Dare to Care, CLM is offering free cooking classes for current food pantry clients and qualifying low-income participants. Cooking Matters participants will learn how to prepare healthier recipes for participants and their families. Each week attendees will receive free grocery items to prepare the recipes at home, along with a free workbook full of tasty recipes and simple tips on buying healthy, low-cost foods.

These workshops will be held once a week for six weeks, beginning Tuesday, April 2, and will run from 10am – 12pm at the CLM Food Pantry, 213 East Maple Street, Jeffersonville, IN 47130.
